304 Stainless Steel Fasteners

Stainless steel 304 fasteners are made up of austenitic steel, and it contains 18%chromium and 8% nickel which is commonly used in the production of fasteners. Three hundred four fasteners offer excellent resistance to crevice corrosion, pitting, and stress corrosion cracking. Stainless steel 304 fasteners are also resistant to wet chloride, which is present in seawater. Stainless steel 304 grade is excellent for applications in high temperatures. These fasteners are available in various types such as 304L and 304H etc.

Stainless steel 304L fasteners are available in different sizes, shapes, and coatings. SS 304L is austenitic steel with a low carbon level that minimizes carbide precipitation, which is generally caused because of welding. It is non-magnetic and has low mechanical properties. Stainless steel 304L is commonly used in power generation, chemical mixers, evaporators, and mostly in applications where chemical acids are constantly being used.

Stainless steel 304H is a low carbon-containing alloy with only 0.08% carbon content. This grade is pliable and strong. Its creep strength is higher than 304/304L and has great resistance to sensitization. This grade is commonly used in the making of pans and other cooking vessels. The preferable working temperature for this grade is 900-1150°C

Marking and Packing

Products are packaged to ensure that there is no damage during transit. In case of exports, standard export packaging is done in wooden cases. All pipes are marked with Grade, Lot No, Size, Degree and our trade mark. On special requests we can also, make custom marking on our products.

At JF Engineering Products LLP, all fasteners are subject to strict inspection at each stage of the production process, from starting material purchasing to product dispatch. They are visually examined for conformity to ASTM, ASME, MSS, DIN, EN, and JIS codes and standards. Upon request, official certified Inspection Agencies can be called in to witness the material reports, dimensions and quality conformity of products.

Delivery time and delivery dates are based on the "type and quantity" of steel ordered. Our sales team will provide a delivery schedule when quoting to you. On rare occasions the delivery schedule may change so please check with our sales department when placing any orders.
